In honor of Comicon coming to town, the Denver Pavilions hosted a Cosplay Contest for local comic enthusiasts. For those of you that don’t know, Comicon is a celebration of all things movie, video games, and comics. Comicon is no single event, and it tours all over the world. Fans can dress up like their favorite characters, attend industry seminars with their favorite stars, and take in Comicon themed shows all over the city. It is in this spirit, that the Denver Pavilions held their first annual Cosplay Contest. Also, for those of you that don’t know, Cosplay simply means dressing up in costumes. It’s like Halloween, but better. Though the weather was a little wet, we still had people lining up at the Groove Road Show stage to show off their cool costumes. The Road Show would also like to note, that most of these costumes were made by hand by the participants. It’s that kind of dedication that made this such a fun event. Below we have posted some pictures of our favorites, and we hope you enjoy them.
