Imagine a world with no bartenders, or how about no servers? What if there were no cooks, no busboys, and no dishwashers. What a sad place this world would be. Happy hour would be nonexistent. The turducken, a lunatic’s pipe dream. How easy is it for us to forget, how high our standard of living is raised by these unassuming, yet noble pillars of society? Well the Colorado Restaurant Association has not forgotten, and that is why they host an annual CRA Industry Tailgate to help raise money for industry professionals in need. You see, the fact of the matter is that most of these hospitality jobs do not provide health insurance, and when someone gets hurt, they typically have little help to get them through the tough times. The annual tailgate helps raise money for a fund that provides financial assistance to service industry employees who need help with medical bills. This is a fantastic cause, and these hardworking individuals deserve every bit of it. The Groove Road Show is proud to be a part of this event every year. It’s the one time of the year bartenders, servers, busboys, cooks, and dishwashers have an event where they get to sit back and enjoy the pleasures of being served by others. Drinks are brought to them. The live band is booked for their entertainment. They get to participate in the games and win the prizes. That is what this event is all about. We tip our hats to these fine people who live and work in the trenches day in and day out. Kudos to you for all of your hard work! We love what you do, and even more, we appreciate it. The Groove Road Show thanks you for your service, and wishes you an ever-overflowing tip jar.
