Groove Ford participated in Ford’s first annual Costume Drive for the Kids with resounding success. The Groove Road Show provided some party Halloween music, while Ford’s monster-wrapped F-150 was a huge hit with everyone as Groove employees and costumers donated costumes and money that would go directly to the YMCA of Metro Denver and allow local children to pick out costumes. We look forward to making this event even bigger next year!
From Heidi Swartzloff, Ford Rep:
“The kids, parents and teachers were all so very appreciative. One of the teachers gave me a hug and said “you have no idea what it means to some of these kids – thank you!
The little boy, Noah (pictured below) had been sad and crying all week because he wouldn’t have a costume for Halloween. His face lit up when he came in the room. Another notable family that attended is a single mom with quintuplets! She was thrilled that her kids would have costumes this year.”
Tim Cambier of Groove Ford added, “We love participating at events like this. We see ourselves as more than just a car dealership and this is one more way we can give back to our community!”
The costume drive was even tweeted out by Ford Trucks:
